"Clean Water for Living" is not just a slogan,

Clean water is essential for life.

Water - Respect and Protect It.

Great Lakes Water represents

  •   21% of the world's surface fresh water by volume
  •    84% of North America's surface fresh water

Clean water is essential to life. Water is the body's principal chemical component and makes up about 60 percent of body weight. Every system in the body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to cells, and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

To live all people need access to clean water. Yet, the quality and quantity of water is increasingly under threat.

The way we think about and behave with regards to water resources must change. We need to respect and protect it. We can and must do better.
