Our Mission

Clean Water for Living provides information to increase awareness of current water quality issues, possible remedies and future possibilities.  Short videos demonstrate positive action by Clean Water Champions.

ROTARY ROLE

Water stewardship is one of the six areas of focus of Rotary International. Rotarians are well known for their work in providing safe drinking water and better sanitation in Third World countries. In 2016 – 2017 Rotary International approved 305 water and sanitation global grants for approximately $22.4 million in funding.

Rotarians must continue this international work, but we should do more.  Rotary is known to unite leaders to exchange ideas and take action to improve communities everywhere. Here is a perfect opportunity to lead the way by respecting and protecting water at home.

 Here is how to become a "Clean Water for Living" Rotary club:

•       Include water education programs.

•       Partner with a conservation authority or similar organization on a clean water project.

•       Identify and celebrate Clean Water Champions in your community.

•       Support school water education programs.

•       Reduce bottled water use.

• Advocate for clean water
